Termas S.Pedro do Sul

Spent last weekend in S.Pedro do Sul, where most my family is from, and where we have a lovely flat near the centre. Here are the oldest natural springs and spas known in Portugal, and it's worth the visit... I go there like twice a year since I was born and everytime I come back I fall in love with it again.
My cousin and my Dad near one of the springs - traditionaly portuguese, made in tiles with poems written on it.
The grass by the Vouga river.
Inatel... Old Inatel building, amazing place to stay!
The roman ruins of the baths.
One of the natural springs that are used for healing processes - physiotherapy in this case, natural spring of HOT water and sulphur.
And a huge brimstone on top of a hot spring, great for inhaling for people with breathing problems, and similar... Great thing about this is that all these springs are spread in the streets, for free.
Around the water it can be seen the little yellow trails of sulphur... it stinks, but heals :)
The museum of the physiotherapy and spas. A bath that more looks like a coffin...
Old copper taps.
I don't even want to think what this was for...
Hobbies?!
The old taps in copper, still in use ! :D
Balnearios D.Afonso Henriques, the biggest spa in Europe. Believe me, this place is H U G E!
The new pedestrian bridge to cross the river...
...and that's about it!
